Brand new - Medland's Beach Hideout is a 200 metre stroll down a private lane to Medlands Beach with pristine white sands, renowned for its world class surfing and crystal clear blue waters. Situated in the middle of Medlands Beach and handy to the large rock pool at Memory Park which is perfect for all ages. This self contained Tiny House is nestled away from the main house on a property with established gardens of mature trees, Kentia and Nikau palms which attract abundant native bird life, Tui, Wood Pigeons, Kaka, Fantail, Banded Rail and more. Tiny House is completely self-sufficient with solar powered 240V, ideally suited to 2 people. Linen and bathroom towels provided. You need to provide your own beach towels. Main bedroom has queen bed, second bedroom has a king single bed. Good sized outside deck with table & chairs, bean bags, sun umbrellas and BBQ. Shopping for provisions is located at Claris, Tryphena and Port Fitzroy. Restaurants and Cafes are also located in these areas. Laundry facilities are located at Claris adjacent to the general store. Great Barrier Island has been designated as one of 4 Dark Sky Sanctuary's in the world. With almost no light pollution the pristine clear skies make for beautiful night viewing. Minimum 2 nights, 3 nights peak season Check in 2pm Check out 10am Rates: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Full payment is due 28 days before arrival. If you cancel your reservation 28 days before arrival, 50% of your payment will be charged. If you cancel your reservation within 14 days before arrival 100% of your payment will be charged. No shows are also charged 100% of the payment. Peak season 26 Dec to 6 February requires full payment by 1 November. Should you cancel after this date we can only refund if we are able to re-book the property. This is mainly due to the short notice as it gets near impossible for other guests to make travel bookings to and from the Island from then on.
