About this Holiday House

Autumn SPECIAL: 10% discount for stays or 2 or more off-peak nights until the end of June 2024 (excludes Statutory weekends). You will be in awe of the incredible views of Lake Tekapo from the comfort of Lake Watch. Enjoy a relaxing BBQ on the deck with the surrounding mountain and lake views and in winter keep warm inside with both heat pump and log fire. From the comfort of your master king bed look out to the incredible view and enjoy the ease of your private ensuite. Another king bedroom and twin room share a second bathroom and separate toilet. This house accommodates 6 people comfortably. Large living space with a big screen TV and freeview. This modern property is a home away from home with a laundry including a dryer and garage access. By prior agreement, well-behaved family dogs are welcome to stay (not fenced). A small fee applies and owners are expected to follow a few simple rules. Please enquire. Lake Watch holiday accommodation is located just a few minutes drive from Tekapo’s village centre, lakefront, restaurants, shops, hot springs and observatory. Mt Dobson and Roundhill Ski Areas are both within an hours drive. Tekapo is also the perfect base for exploring neighbouring Mackenzie Country attractions of Twizel, Lakes' Pukaki & Ohau and Aoraki Mount Cook.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lovely big spacious house with everything you need to cook meals and relax and enjoy your holiday. Comfortable and warm, amazing views of the mountains and lakes from different rooms. We loved the outdoor patio and even in winter were able to sit out there in the sun and admire the views. The hot pools pass was a hit as we had five of us staying and four of us were able to go to the pools, ice skate and use the snow tube park for free for as many days as we were there.

Lake Watch is the most impressive holiday house I have ever stayed at! It boasts direct views to the lake and snow capped mountains with all day sun and a pleasant stroll to the lake. The amenity is spacious and well designed with a cosy fire place, modern kitchen and dining area with views to the lake. The 3 bedrooms are well separated for privacy and the bathrooms are spacious and there is even a bath for relaxing in after a day's skiing! I am keen to book again and highly recommend this most wonderful retreat! Lorraine
