About this Holiday House

Highly appointed one bedroom mudbrick cottage with tile roof. King bed, walk in tiled shower. Situated in a private location on the east side of Mt Iron. A three minute drive from Wanaka township. WiFi. Freeview Tv/dvd. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Please note that Rockview is a Smokefree Environment both inside and outside the cottage. There is no Lake View from the cottage. Photos attached include a view of the lake from the summit of Mt Iron situated behind the cottage. Kitchen Items include hotplate, microwave, bench top oven. BBQ on verandah. Hotel size fridge with ice box. Pots, pans, plates, cups,utensils, tea, coffee, sugar.

We stayed for 2 weeks at Rockview Cottage. The moment we stepped through the door, we felt immediatedly at home. This cottage was very well appointed. There was a cosy sofa and a TV with a nice selection of NZ or NZ-related DVDs. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bathroom was just perfect with a superbe shower. We slept very well in the comfy bed. Also the location was ideal for us. Close to Wanaka but in a very quiet area right at the bottom of Mt. Iron which is a fantastic hill for walking up enjoying the views. The owner was very helpful, he even did our laundry. Thank you very much again for everything, hope to be back one day!
