There are either ceiling or portable fans in each room and central heating to the whole house. The laundry is fully equipped with a tub, near new washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. We love kids and babies and are fully equipped for them with bunk beds adjoining one of the rooms, a porta cot, mountain buggy with optional carry cot, baby bath, change mat, high chair and bumbo, all bedding and a baby safety gate. In summer it is only approximately 100 metres walk along the beach to the surf club and fully patrolled stretch of beach where you and your family/friends can swim in safety and confidence. It's just a few minutes walk to Oakura Village, a vibrant and charming beach community with great bars and cafes. New Plymouth is only a 10 minute drive away with a fantastic array of options to keep you busy. There's great outdoor activities available including exploring coastal trails and hiking up the nearby Kaitake Ranges.
