Special Amenities

Outdoor furniture is a beanbag & 2 chairs for the deck. There is a cell phone tower on the hill across SH3, which gives you full cellphone & internet. The sea view is down the river to the mouth (can't see the mouth) but you can hear the sea and you are right on the inlet and the Awakino River with the Awakino Pub across the river with great meals.

Awakino River, Tongapourutu sisters rocks & beach. Mokau & Awakino Beaches, fishing, walking, cycle, kayaking. Kayaks can be provided upon request. Walking along the beach at Awakino heads about 5km away by car. Waterskiing in the Awakino River at the boat ramp. Well stocked convenience store and petrol station a few kms away.
