he space Comfortable Family Home – Plenty of Space to Relax Our lovely, comfortable family home offers plenty of space to relax, unwind and entertain, making it ideal for families, groups and event guests. 4 bedrooms: Master bedroom with ensuite: Queen bed, with the option of an additional queen air bed Bedroom 2: 2 king single beds + 1 single bed Bedroom 3: 1 queen bed + 1 single bed Bedroom 4: 1 king single bed + 1 single bed The master bedroom has a private ensuite, while a large family bathroom downstairs conveniently services the other three bedrooms. Hot water is supplied by an Infinity gas system. Additional sleeping: The queen air beds are raised, full-size air beds designed to comfortably accommodate 2 people. We have welcomed groups attending a wide range of events, who have found our home well-equipped and ideally suited for their stay, including: North Island Rowing Champs • Waka Ama • Dragon Boat Racing • Maadi Cup • NZ Polo • Fieldays exhibitors • Karapiro Flyer Cycling Race • Red Barn & Jakama Lodge weddings and bridal parties • Hydroplanes • CrossFit Games • Family gatherings • NZ Kapa Haka Nationals Guest access Guests have access to all areas of the property, with the exception of the workshop and a separate self-contained unit occupied by another tenant. The tenant has no access to the guest house and has their own private courtyard and parking area. They are quiet, respectful and keep to themselves. Other things to note On-site Workshop We have an engineering workshop on the property, which operates Monday–Friday. Our working hours are generally 7am–4pm, with some tidying and pack-up after 4pm. Our 2 staff are often out on site, so the workshop is usually quiet. We do have a forklift that may occasionally be operating around the yard, so please take care when entering the property. We will be residing just 15 minutes away and are always available should you need anything during your stay. Our Animals We have two cats, two dogs, five ducks and some sheep on the property. The cats will be off-site during your stay. If you have severe cat allergies, please be aware that, while we have professional cleaners come through before each stay and take care to minimise allergens, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Our dogs are very friendly, child-safe outdoor dogs. The dogs will be moved off the premise for the duration of your stay. Our five ducks are very friendly and love a little attention. If you’d like to feed them during your stay, they would certainly appreciate it! Duck eggs are for your enjoyment.
