Hi Alex, Thanks for pointing out the good from your experience along with the things you didn't like. Firstly, the spa was professionally valeted 2 days prior to your arrival. If there were any issues the spa company would have let us know and we would have let you know. They are excellent at what they do so there should not have been an issue... if you had let us know of any concerns though, we would have had them straight back there to look at this again. BBQ, it would have been great if you'd got in touch about this too. BBQ's should be made wok clean and they should be free of food debris. If our housekeepers missed this we apologise... it's not like them to miss such things, but misses can happen. Note that the best way to clean a BBQ is to turn it on, get it hot, turn it off and then use a wire brush followed by newspaper. This process takes less than 10 minutes including heat time. Missing provisions is not acceptable Pillows - we have a mountain of pillows at this house and these should comprise thick and thin. We will look at this again based on your feedback. Hot upstairs - it's important to draw curtains/blinds on North-West facing houses during the time of the day when the sun is low. This keep the heat out. Cross-breezing is also a great idea here. Nights are cool and opening windows helps a lot. We have fans in most houses and are happy to add these where needed - again, just touch base with your host to allow this. Many things we could have helped with here if you'd let us know. A relief that overall you have enjoyed your stay, but one phonecall or email and we could have made sure that you loved your stay. A missed opportunity for us both I think. All the best for 2024.
