We spent 3 lovely nights at this beautiful home over the King’s Birthday holiday. The house is incredibly comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. It’s close to supermarket and nice restaurants. It’s spotlessly clean, with a cozy fireplace and a charming backyard that adds to the serene atmosphere. Located in a peaceful suburb, the home is close to stunning riverside reserves—perfect for scenic walks. Although we didn’t bring our dogs this time, the property is clearly pet-friendly (not fully fenced), and it’s clear Paula and Tim are thoughtful hosts who genuinely love animals. Paula was a pleasure to communicate with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this well-maintained holiday home to our friends and anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. 5 out of 5! We have been holidaying in the Turangi area for the last eight years and have stayed in many houses, but 220 Tupahi Rd is definitely one of the best! The location is unbeatable—just a five-minute walk to Creel Lodge, a five-minute walk to the river, and a seven-minute walk to the playground. The house itself is very clean, has everything you might need, and feels incredibly welcoming. The garden is superb—very private and full of color. The owners were great at communication, especially when we had an issue that we created ourselves. Overall, we are very happy to have finally found a property we would love to return to in the years to come.
