We stayed here for a weekend in the middle of winter. Mark (the host) was a good communicator and provided all the info we need for our stay. An awesome little hideaway, in a great location (just a 10 minute walk to the square). It's down a short driveway so there's no road noise, although the return of a large flock of birds (sparrows or starlings?) to nearby trees each night was quite loud, but fun to watch, and once they settled down were quiet for the rest of the evening/night. It gets loads of sun on the deck as well as inside, so when the sun is out you don't need the heat pump as the sun warms things up really well. One thing to note, if you are planning on using both bedrooms, is that the back bedroom didn't get any sun while we were there (not that we used it), so it is much colder than the front bedroom. It would be a good idea to leave the bedroom door open to get some heat from the lounge during the day. It's a shame the spa pool isn't available, but the two mountain bikes are in good condition and cycling is a great way to get around Martinborough and the vineyards. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be keen to book it again, maybe in summer next time to make use of the bbq and outdoor area.

Nice and clean and warm would stay again

Great place to stay, nice and warm and spacious, very comfortable and clean with all modern facilities, all well maintained. Nice outdoor areas with good privacy down a single driveway.
