Neat little place to stay basically what you see is what you get. Actually a little bit smaller than it appears in the photos. Alot of seaweed has built up at the bottom of the cliff and smells quite bad when the tide is out. You need to supply your own toilet paper which was quite weird. Never been told that at a rented holiday home before. There was no fry pan in the kitchen which made bacon and eggs for brekkie difficult. Couple of tweaks and less smell and this would have been 5 stars

Thanks for your review and we are happy that you had a good time. Unfortunately we haven't had some rain and a rough day that usually takes the seaweed out. We hope this weeks weather low will take most of it out to the sea. The cleaner should have left 2 to 3 rolls for a weekend booking there which we think should be enough. If there wasn't any toilet paper at all then we are very sorry, as we always leave it in them in the bathroom. Nothing is more annoying then getting to a rented space and there is no toilet paper. Please let us know and we chase the cleaner. We have a note on our house rules that if you come for a longer period you should bring more - just in case. There are a couple of fry pans in the bottom drawer of the stove. Thanks for bringing this up as we see that we should add this to the house manual. Sorry you couldn't find them. I guess a lot of people think the bottom drawer is a warming drawer but it isn't.

A tastefully decorated retro style bach with amazing views over the Manukau harbour. Ideal for a weekend getaway. Loved that the house had its own access to the beach and the spa pool with sea views was the best place to unwind after a day out exploring the area. While the bedrooms are smallish, the beds were comfy and the linen provided and good quality which made it easy for us as visitors. The upper bunk would be more suitable for an older child/teen as its safety rail is not very high, so we ended up topping and tailing our two little ones in the bottom bunk. Note that one of the queen beds is in a sleep out. We found the owners very helpful; promptly communicating information about the property and sorting out issues that arose during our stay.

Happy you enjoyed your stay and thanks so much for the great communication and being so helpful with the water tank issue. Thanks a lot for your review and the note with the bunk beds, We will install an additional board on the top to make it safer for smaller kids, that was already something we wanted to do but see it is urgent to be done.
