About this Holiday House

A 440m2 modern country home in 1.5ha grounds built in 2003 on the historic Rissington Station. Quality wifi, smart TV. All weather tennis court, trampoline, outdoor fireplace, tables, BBQ and spa pool on large decking area. Access to and through the farm to the Mangaone Stream for trout fishing or swimming. The local Puketapu Pub 15km away is great for dining out or providing catering catering should you want a break from cooking.

Rissington Station won the regional farm forestry award in 2017, was placed in the farm environment awards in 2018 and is home to the renown Rissington cattle stud. So farmland interspersed by native and exotic forestry with the Mangaone Stream running through the middle of the farm and Mt McNeil providing panoramic views of Hawkes Bay. Enjoy the country surrounds in a house built for entertaining family and friends and yet within 30 minutes drive to most parts of the region.

It was a lovely big and spacious house in the countryside with an awesome tennis court and spa pool which we used regularly. The beds were super comfortable and the house perfect for indoor/outdoor living in the warm Hawkes Bay weather.

This was a beautiful home. 9 of us stayed here and had a very relaxing weekend. There was plenty of space indoors and outdoors with so many activities. Love the picturesque views of the mountains from the lounge and the homey feeling. It is a nice little getaway from the main city. We all enjoyed to the max and would definitely be back. Thank you for having us! :)
