Oakura Bay is great for boating - you can fish, dive and there is also a water ski lane at the northern end of Oakura Bay. On a nice day you can easily get to the Hole in the Rock in Russell. An hours drive to historic Russell. A great place for a family holiday - parents please note that children can walk directly onto the beach and hence into the water - adult supervision required for children who are unable to swim.
