This Art Deco older style house offers an amazing view of the ocean and mountains from the house and garden. With just minutes walk to the town. Perfect budget bach for family and friends to get together. Not too many mod cons here ie no dishwasher, no wifi, but it's comfortable and very clean. Unfortunately no children under the age of 5 due to the very steep stairs to the 2nd floor where their are two bedrooms. The main bedroom is on the ground floor. (Really comfortable bed as well as many guests have told us). Pet friendly so if your wanting to bring your beloved pet, please be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your dog but they are very welcome. Linen is included in your tariff ie sheets, towels, face cloths, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels. Also included is a house clean on our departure. Minimum stay is 2 nights and please arrive after 2pm and depart by 10am, unless otherwise arranged with Kaikoura Holiday Homes. Things to do in Kaikoura range from fishing, swimming, diving, mountain biking trails, horse riding, hiking, kayaking, surfing, skiing and cafe culture. A really popular activity is the whale watching, air charters and swimming with the dolphins. If you go for a stroll on the peninsula coast, your bound to see some seals basking in the sun.
