This was a great holiday house - it was really warm and cosy and a fantastic location for us to enjoy some great walks as well as the awesome ski-ing at Porters. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Luna's Den. The home is warm and spacious, had all amenities we needed for our stay e.g. oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, electric blankets etc. The views in every direction were truly spectacular and obviously well catered for when designing this property. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, drinks by the fireplace, and even saw the full moon through the telescope which was an unexpected quirk. The village is very quiet and has walking and cycling tracks available directly from the estate. As visitors from Australia, Tom gave us very comprehensive instructions on what to expect; the village is a little isolated so groceries, petrol etc have to be purchased before arriving; towels and sheets have to be taken, which was not at all a problem, just a note for other overseas tourists (and really minor inconveniences in return for the delightful experience of staying here). A couple of must-sees in the area are the majestic rocks at Kura Tawhiti Conservation Area, Cave Stream Scenic Reserve, Mistletoe track and up to Helicopter Hill (the views will knock you over), any of the walks at Arthur's Pass, and horse treks at Rubicon Valley. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property and will happily visit again. Thank you for a perfect end to our NZ holiday!

We had such a great time in castle hill, made even more so by the helpfulness of Tom and his lovely home. Standard of service provided from Luna’s Den was above and beyond. We will certainly recommend and be back. Thanks
