Namukulu Village Niue Island, the smallest village of the smallest nation in the world, and the location of Kaliki Lodge. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the all weather deck opening on to private lawns. Watch spinner dolphins and humpback whales play during the migration season (July-September) from the outlook of the cliff top while the relaxing ocean views help you unwind into the tropical vibe of island life. Special Amenities

Private terraced grounds leading to an all-weather whale watching fale. Stunning ocean views offering memorable sunsets, rest and relaxation. A point to note is the water supply is gravity fed to Namukulu village and Kaliki heats water via a gas califont. This means that if the island is experiencing power cuts (happens often) you should still be able to wash, flush toilets and cook on the gas stove. We also have surge protectors in the house for use when charging your devices.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Kaliki Lodge is walking distance to popular destinations such as Limu Pools and Matapa Chasm for swimming and snorkeling. Hio cafe is also in walking distance for coffee and elegant island cuisine. (walking distance assuming average level of fitness and weather conditions on the day!) On arrival Niue Tourism provides visitors a weekly updated schedule of what's on the island including restaurants hours. Bookings are recommended for any evening dining. Wait times at cafes for orders might be longer than what you may be use to. Further information about Niue attractions are available on the Niue Tourism website. Prior to arrival we recommend booking cars from Willie at niue4x4rentals@gmail.com and also booking yourself on the Commodores Island orientation tour. There is no public transport, uber or taxis on Niue.
