The house is located at an excellent location, near town centre and also with a stunning view over Lake Wanaka. The living room is spacious and cozy. Wendy is super helpful and provided all necessary information for us to have a nice stay. I would not hesitate to book here again if I had the chance to stop by Wanaka in future.

This was fabulous accommodation. So well set out for a larger number of guests. An awesome veranda with the most magical view. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well supplied. Great lounge with enough seats for everyone. Wendy was fantastic to communicate with. And location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on all levels. Would highly recommend this accommodation. We have already booked in for another family wedding in 2028.

Lovely location, with a quick walk to shops and restaurants and a beautiful view of the lake. Communication from the homeowner was great. The house itself was tidy, and there were plenty of spare condiments in the pantry, which was helpful. We did find some of the kitchen implements, particularly the frying pans, to be quite outdated and not very easy to use. The BBQ was a great addition though, and we made good use of the electric frying pan for most of our cooking. We were surprised to discover there is an attached, self-contained unit within the same building that was occupied during our stay, as this wasn’t something we were aware of beforehand. While we didn’t see or hear the other occupants and weren’t disturbed at all, it was a little jarring upon arrival to realise we were sharing the building. It may be helpful for future guests if this is mentioned in the listing so people know what to expect.
