OUR HOME-BELVEDERE (meaning in Italian-panoramic viewpoint) Welcome to our home in Queenstown, BELVEDERE. THE SPACE Our property is a luxurious property located in the sort after estate of Aspen Grove. Belvedere has without doubt, (please see our reviews) the best uninterrupted views of Queenstown town centre & one of Queenstown’s, we feel prettiest & best golf courses, which is virtually on an island. Belvedere overlooks the snow capped peaks of the remarkable mountain range. Watch the ever changing colours as the sunrises & sets, on the beautiful snow capped peaks of the Remarkables mountain range. From the left to right, watch the ever changing activities on Lake Wakatipu right up to Walter Peak. Enjoy watching the Earnslaw on its regular daily/nightly trips up to Walter Peak Farm & all the other interesting activities that are a daily occurrence on the lake. The list goes on & once you arrive you will never want to leave this beautiful vista Belvedere our home is beautifully decorated, with the walls adorned with many original artworks from NZ, Australia & Asia. We have collected many pieces over our lifetime & many reflect areas that Garry & I, have very fond memories of visiting on our travels To capture such magnificent views, our home is spread over 3 levels from the entrance, garages (flat level & please note our home does have stairs) each level promises you a different view from different rooms and areas In November 23 we embarked on painting a feature wall in the living area & again hung some more artwork. We changed all the soft furnishings in this area, to reflect our Scottish heritage as well as the heritage of a lot of residents of the South Island THE LIVING Enter the front entrance door or door from garages, where you can stop and enjoy the beautiful views or the artwork on a lovely 2 seater lounge, open up the 2 massive front doors and enjoy the views of our garden & the lake As you ascend the magnificent grand staircase you will also be able to enjoy the vast artworks. You will then arrive to a wonderful semi circular, floor to ceiling glass wall with incredible views, this area is a quiet sitting area where you can enjoy a coffee or glass of local wine, again sit and take in the views or maybe reading a book. This area also has a ‘powder room’ with toilet & handbasin The living room, consists of a very large dining room table with seating for 8 very comfortably. There is a very large lounge, again this area is adorned with artwork & a large mirror reflecting the views. Belvedere also has a large office desk, where you can set up your computer. We also have a printer should you need to print off any literature whilst you are staying The kitchen is fully equipped boasting quality mostly SMEG appliances, a full stocked pantry with all the spices etc. There is a Breville Expresso machine, all coffee beans supplied as well is varieties of coffee/teas etc I would defy if you would find another holiday home, that supplies just about everything, in the pantry & cupboards, to help you feel right at home during your stay Just off the kitchen via a glass door is the Weber gas BBQ with wok, to the left out of the large glass sliding door from the living area is a very large outside dining table for 8 guests, where again you can enjoy the wonderful views The living/dining area also has a reverse cycle air conditioning/heat pump and an instantaneous gas log fire place, a wall mounted 55” SMART TV with Sky with sports & Netflix connected. There is a surround sound system as well. Heaps of DVD’s are supplied and in the coffee table draws are all the games etc UPPER LEVEL Is where the 3 bedrooms are located and a very large main bathroom with large inside spa bath, walk in shower, toilet etc (shampoo, conditioner & body wash supplied, & also bath salts). This area also has air conditioning/heat pump & a ceiling fan. From this area you can walk straight out to the large 7 person hot tub/spa pool which is always on, heating & cleaning, & ready for your stay. There is also 2 reclining chairs & a lovely outside table & chairs on this very vast outside area as well Bedroom 1 has a large KING bed (or 2 KING singles) and an en suite with walk in shower (shampoo, conditioner & body wash supplied) & a walk in wardrobe. There is a large box of baby/infants toys & a baby bath in this walk in robe. There is a 50” SMART TV with free to area & Netflix connection & a DVD/sound system. There is a gorgeous leather reclining chair/foot stool in this room as well. As per our photos, this room boast magnificent views from the vast windows/glass doors facing the lake, right the way around to Walter Peak. You can access the spa from this room as well Bedroom 2 has a large KING bed (or 2 KING singles) a large built in wardrobe & a wall mounted 50” SMART TV with free to air & Netflix connected. Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake & back manicured gardens Bedroom 3 Has 3 singles but can also be configurated into a large KING bed $ 1 KING SINGLE. it has a large built in wardrobe, a wall mounted 50” SMART TV with free to air & Netflix connection. This room boasts beautiful garden views ALL BEDS These are made according to your group’s needs ie couples or singles. The linens are quality white cotton sheets (triple sheeting) ample blankets are supplied. Each guest is supplied with 2 white bath towels. We do supply a travel cot & if required this will be made & set up for your arrival GUESTS ACCESS, GARAGE & LAUNDRY You have access via a remote control, of a very large uncluttered, 2 car garage. This area is where the guest laundry is. We also have storage/drying racks for your ski gear. You have private access to all areas of our home apart from 3 private owners/cleaners lock ups. We DO NOT live at the property & you will have your privacy where you are in control of all the house spaces. We finally got to experience this fabulous property after Covid forced the cancellation for our first booking, Deb couldn’t have been more wonderful going out of her way in every way possible and organising a fabulous bottle of Moët to be waiting for us. Fantastic home and host’s, we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Our January 2016 stay at Belvedere, was the absolute best!! Perfect for our adult family of 5 plus a 9 mth old. We celebrated my husband's 60th and for him, waking up to the glorious views was perfect. Deb and Garry (the owners) are really kind, lovely approachable people, even surprising us with a delicious bottle of red for the birthday boy. Staying at the well equipped house, you certainly wouldn't want for anything more, and even a little exercise was taken, going up and down the hill! Thank you very much Deb and Garry!
