What's not to love!!! Here you have a super sized, family friendly, summer beach home that relishes in an array of spectacular panoramic views, including being able to watch as the waves lap onto the white sandy beach, expanses of blue ocean and Taranga Island (Hen and Chicks) and way beyond, as well as lovely bush views. This is certainly the spot to come to should you require room for a large family or two, or even for a couple that just want the space and the relaxing atmosphere that comes with it. This two story, five bedroom (sleeps 12), three bathroom, two lounge areas, family beach home is ideal for anytime of the year. Upstairs you have open plan living that flows outside via huge stacker doors, onto a spacious deck set up with the BBQ, which is idyllic way to spend a summers evening, soaking in the stunning vista in front of you. The lounge has a cosy fireplace to warm things up in winter and there’s lots of air flow through the house for those hot summer days. The master bedroom with ensuite is located to the front of the house and revels in the amazing views as well, which you get to appreciate all from lying in your bed. The other three bedrooms on this level are located down the hallway, with the bunk room having a Juliet balcony. There is a family bathroom located upstairs as well. Downstairs you have another lounge / rumpus area, that opens out onto the lawn, which is an ideal set up for teenagers to have their own space. There are two bedrooms located on this level, as well as a spacious bathroom and the laundry area. From this location there are two, public, walk ways located off Wairahi Road (on either side of Lang Road) that lead down to Cove Road and the beach. Come and explore this very special area in Northland. There's a great Cafe in Waipu Cove and a dairy and you can get supplies easily in Mangawhai or Waipu Cove and for extended visits, Countdown in Whangarei does deliver to your door. Langs Beach is an ideal family beach, where an abundance of water sports and fun can be had. Younger members of the family can play in the water towards the sheltered part of the bay, just before where the boats are launched off the beach, as there are generally no waves in that area, and for those that love to surf or swim in the waves the rest of Langs is perfect. Whether you’re looking to be able to surf cast off the beach, enjoy a spot of fishing, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, romantic beach walks or just want to relax on the beach with a good book, you can do it all from Langs. It’s also worth noting that on those hot summer days, Zippy's is a must for coffee and delicious ice creams all summer long and they are parked in Lang's beach for your convenience. The views were amazing and so easy to walk to the beach. We stayed for a long weekend with 3 couples and 2 small children and the house was perfect with room to spare. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were spacious with lots of beds. I would highly recommend this property and we would love to stay there again.
Our family spent Christmas in this wonderful location. The house worked incredibly well for our large family , the stand out being the large deck and the equally large well equipped kitchen and the bonus beer fridge! We had all our meals outdoors as the view is amazing and it was easy.
The good things about this property is the view and location which doesn't worth booking this property as there are lots of insects and ants inside. Dishwashers are both broken. No spices, not enough heater. The power had cut few times in one day. The matress and shower handle was broken. The property manager is not helpful at all and it make your experience even wrose. She wasn't happy to give us toilet papers and we had to prove and argue that the existing ones are not enough.

Sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay at this lovely property. As you can see from previous feedback a lot of other people have enjoyed what this lovely, spacious, property has to offer. In regards to your comments, please note that the home was checked on the day of your arrival and was clean and everything was working. We supplied 9 toilet rolls, 3x in each toilet for a 2 night stay. You rung on the day you went into the property to say that 9 toilet rolls were not going to be enough and you were supplied with 4 more rolls within 10 minutes of your call. Unfortunately, you also overloaded the power on several occasions, to which your holiday consultant was there straight away to fix the fuse and requested that you didn’t have all appliances on, on both storey's, at one time. You choose to ignore that advice, hence why the issue kept happening. It was interesting to note, that during the three visits from our consultant at no time did you address the other issues above until we went to charge you for extra cleaning and removal of rubbish. We take pride in taking good care of our renters and being available when required. We do not believe that your comments are a true reflection of how you were treated or about the property itself, however you are entitled to your opinion. Please note that guests went into the property the same day you left and both dishwashers were working and there were no power outages.

During Public Holidays / Long Weekends the rate is $450 - $550 per night with a minimum 3 night booking. A minimum of 7 nights stay applied during peak season and a minimum of 2 nights stay is required for the rest of the year. A bond will be held with each booking and returned within 5 working days of your stay provided everything is ok with the house. A compulsory clean of $160+GST applies to every booking.

Electric heaters are located in every bedroom as well as a fire place.
