This is a lovely old camp was historically built for the Monowai Power Station workers in the 1960's as a boarding hostel and has retained this charm. This camp was formally known as 'Monowai Holiday camp' A great place to stay if your interest is : Hunting, Fishing, Tramping, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Caving, & Boating or just relaxing in our peaceful tranquil location. Fly Fishing and trout - very popular, there has been alot of success this season. Excellent base to use if your hiking into the huts, Green Lake is a popular destination for Hikers. Safe, quiet place for a girls weekend This is a camp nestled in the foothills of Fiordland National Park. Our camp is self catering accommodation, There is 12 cabins available for Hire, 10 cabins have a double bed and two are twin single. Full Kitchen facilities available Shared Toilet and Shower block Each cabin has a bed with a fitted sheet and pillow, bedspread and dressing table. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag or linen. (linen can be hired) Playground and Tennis Courts right across the road. Room to pitch your tent or park your campervan.
