About this Holiday House

Situated in a leafy neighbourhood, La Petite Maison is just a few minutes walk from Nelson’s Centre of Musical Arts, Nelson Museum, café’s and restaurants, parks and gardens, and the famous Nelson Saturday Market. La Petite Maison is a replica of an 1850s cottage which occupied the same site. It is perfectly suited to the solo traveller or couple who would like to experience the charms of Nelson, while being able to return to their quiet bolt hole in a matter of moments.

An exact replica of a 1850 cottage which once stood on the same site. Quiet. Warm, and comfortable. French doors open to a small court yard. Nestled in a neighbourhood of trees, green space and notable homes. Along with a range of reading material, a folio tells the story of the original cottage, it's place in Nelson's history and creation of the replica.

Little spot of France right near the center of Nelson. Little extras lovely touch.

Delightful cottage with a definite French-inspired theme. Surprisingly warm considering the all the floors are concrete or tile.. Some nice goodies left out for breakfast were appreciated. If you were considering a trip to France in the future this could be the perfect place to stay in the meantime.
