The farm runs along the Okari Estuary, the Okari River is on the northern boundary, native bush runs along the length of the back of the farm. Enjoy the privacy of walking the beach or estuary, walk the farm and take in the views of the Tasman Sea and the Paparoa Ranges. Explore the estuary and river by kayak [supplied]. Birdwatching: If you are a birdwatcher, wading, sea, land and forest birds are to be seen all year round. Kiwi can be heard at night from the cottage, many resident weka on the farm. Photograpers: The farm is elevated, looking across the Okari Estuary, over the Tasman Sea, backdropped by the Paparoa Ranges. Enjoy the stunning sunsets! Recreation: Swimming in the estuary, river or beach. Walk the farm or the beach. The beach separated by two unbridged rivers, miles of no other people. Take advantage of the kayaks for safe boating.
