About this Holiday House

Located at North End of beach near surf club and popular Flat White Cafe Porched is a 3 bedroom house positioned right across the road from Brighton Reserve and a gentle 130 metre walk to the beach. Small pets are allowed however please note section is not fenced. This modern casual open living beach base is perfect for a break away! Fantastic for the kids with the park across the road and a short walk down the road to the beach. Walking distance to RSA/cafes and the surf club for the children to swim safely patrolled. Featuring 2 bedrooms fitted each with a queen bed and 1 bedroom fitted with 2 sets of bunk beds. Outside there are two decks - front and back - for entertaining. The front deck has been extended and is north facing - beautiful in the sun. 2 sets of sliding doors creating indoor/outdoor beach living. A modern kitchen to show off your culinary skills with those delicious holiday meals. While the dishes are in the dishwasher, enjoy putting your feet up on the deck in the evening air with a glass of wine. Double-glazing/insulation and heat pump keeps it cosy in winter and cool in summer. Unlimited Wi-Fi means that you can stay connected - even while away. With plenty of room for up to 8 guests, plus easy beach access, this comfortable and well positioned Waihi accommodation makes a fantastic beach getaway! Relax by the beach... WHAT TO BRING: Bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels, hand towels, and tea towels, toilet paper. There is a washing machine and dryer. Linen hire is also available for $12.00 per person plus a $30.00 service fee. If beds required to be made up the service fee will increase to $40.00 Please ask if required.

Beach patrol within walking distance. Local cafe on beach also within walking distance.. great to walk along in the evening for that special dinner. The Top 10 Holiday Park has a large heated pool and spa with a water slide which is great to keep the children occupied if they want a change from the beach. It is open to the public for a nominal charge for swimmers apart from the Xmas/New Year summer holiday. Go check it out .. This is a great facility within walking distance from the Bach.

Not as good as its sounds. No sky as advertised even with your own sky card and wifi is non existent. Floor is very uneven and rotten by dining table. Barbecue is to old and dirty to safely use and rear deck needs work before some one falls through. Really disappointing as last time it was great.

Hi, We apologise if your stay was disappointing and it does concern us greatly. The wifi issue was caused by Vodafone and it did take them a couple of days to fix it which was very frustrating. The Sky does work with your own card - the card goes into the satellite receiver under the TV. It doesn't look like a regular sky box but does work. There is no excuse for a dirty bbq - it is only 3 years old, but is should be cleaned after each visit and we have the property checked every time its rented so it should always be clean.I will raise this with the company that manages our property.We had the floorboards checked out last year and replaced some. We will again get this checked next week and address any issues. I really hope that these matters didn't spoil your holiday, and can assure you that we take these very seriously and will rectify any outstanding matters straight away.

We had the most wonderful week at Porched and would definitely holiday there again. Perfect location, great amenities, lovely kitchen and very comfortable home. Suited our family of 5 down to the ground and with three boys boogie boarding and learning to surf the outdoor shower was a godsend. This is a lovely beach house with views of the water and plenty of places to relax. Thank you.

Such a great location, short walk to the beach. Light and bright house with all needs met wonderfully ! Can't wait to rent this lovely spot again soon.

We use a Real Estate Agent at the beach to handle all payments / key drop-offs etc - for your protection. If COVID lockdown restrictions level 3 and 4 apply we offer full refund. Please note they will ask for a $100 cleaning bond which is fully refundable at departure.
