Absolutely gorgeous beach front bach on the Motueka Inlet. Stunning, panoramic, ever changing views of the estuary and Tasman Bay. The Bach is very comfortable, with an ample living/kitchen area: one end is a TV nook. There is a modern kitchen with dishwasher, double sink, all amenities. We have a large car port, with ample off street parking (Boat etc.). The comfortable living room opens widely onto the Deck from which you can Step off onto the grass reserve; The house is about 30 metres from the high tide mark. The house comprises three bedrooms and sleeps up to six people: Bedroom 1: Queen sized bed (with balcony) Bedroom 2: Queen sized bed Bedroom 3: single bunk bed (sleeps two children) Two bathrooms each with a shower, loo and basin. Laundry with washing machine. (Renters MUST bring their own Sheets, Pillow Cases, & Beach Towels: We provide Towels & bath towels.) The kitchen and living room is open plan with the most stunning panoramic view across Tasman bay. Sliding doors open onto the front deck giving the house amazing indoor-outdoor flow. There is a comfortable area for TV & DVD player in the living room. (If you have a sky card it will fit our decoder) (There is No Broadband or Wifi)) Walk up stairs from the deck to a roof top deck for your coffee or cocktail and more incredible views. Motueka's tide is 3.5 - 4.2 metres: the inlet is empty at low tide. You can Swim on the sandy beach in front of the house 2-3 hours each side of high tide. Motueka Salt Water Baths are 500m south on the reserve., & are always open Boat ramp is 700m south at the marina, by Talley's, usable 24/7. There are great walking/cycling tracks around & along the tidal inlet. Motueka Golf Club is 1km north, Tasman(KinaCliffs) 10km south Kaitereteri & Marahau are about 16km, Golden Bay an hour. Motueka is the gateway to the Tasman National Park. There are many good cafes & restaurants along High St, Motueka, & an excellent outdoor cafe by the Marina, 700m to the south There are also good restaurants at Mapuia, 16km toward Nelson. Nelson's great market is on Saturday, Motueka's on Sunday. Wineries abound, many with cafes/restaurants. Tasman also has many Potters & Artists of many kinds. HangGliding & Aerobatics available at Motueka airfield SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Strictly no parties, a few quiet drinks is fine but you must be respectful of the property and its neighbours. No High Heels in House or on roof deck. No dancing on upper deck! Please respect antique French kitchen table: (Please do NOT CUT on it). If you have a high chair that attatches to a table, DO NOT use it on our dining table. There is a high chair in the bunk room.
