Easy walk into Methven (1km) for pubs, cafes, restaurants, Opuke Hot Pools & Spa, gym, boutique arthouse cinema, sports massage etc. Perfect base for Mount Hutt Ski Area open June - October. Close to excellent golf courses - Methven Golf Course and Terrace Downs. Good walking and mountain biking from the house along and around the canal and Methven Walkway. Windsurfing and other watersports locally at Lake Clearwater and Lake Camp. Fishing and jetboating in the Rakaia River. Tramping at Mt Somers and Rakaia Gorge. Also hot air ballooning and horse riding locally.

Great house, very clean & set up with everything you need. Huge kitchen, dining area. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed sitting on the large deck in the sun to enjoy morning coffee. Will definitely come again to stay here. Thanks!
