Orchard View Cottage provides you with the perfect base for your holiday at the 'Top of New Zealand's South Island'. Both the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks, the sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau and the township of Motueka are all just 12-15 minutes away. The cottage is situated on twenty acres of private land including pasture, riverside and native bush and is a great place for families with children, fly fishermen and those wishing to escape the crowds. The cottage is well away from the road and there is plenty of space to park your car, boat or campervan. The cottage comprises of two bedrooms, an open plan living/dining/kitchen space, a large shower and vanity area and a spacious sunny deck. The main bedroom sleeps two in a queen size bed whilst the second bunk room also sleeps two in two single bunk beds. A double sofa bed in the living area provides an alternative to the bunk beds, or sleeps an extra person. A port-a-cot is available on request. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, electric stove, microwave, toaster etc. and in the living area you will find Sky TV, DVD/CD player and unlimited Wi-Fi. The large deck catches all day sun and is furnished with tables, chairs and gas BBQ for outdoor living. A great place to relax and listen to the native birdsong and admire the panoramic view across the Riwaka Valley. A two minute stroll brings you to the riverside where you can try your hand at trout fishing or feed the muscovy ducks and geese.
