We offer competitive weekly rates. Riverlea Cottage is 1.5km to the Supermarket & Cafes yet next to a farm-like reserve and around and just 150m from the Wanganui River. The Cottage has a new Kitchen & bathroom, a New Heat pump, and additional heaters. It has a good high-pressure shower on gas so the water never runs out, Free WIFI & Netflix. The Cottage has lots of Character but being 100 years old is lightly rustic. Character to us means it feels home like and you can feel the house probably has many stories to tell like any 100 year old house. It has had a recent interior paint so all rooms feel fresh. The property has good off-street parking for 1-4 vehicles. Late check-outs are available for weekend visitors. Sunday pack up, go out, we come in and clean, come back 4-6pm shower and have coffee leave refreshed - get home safe. Available for guests staying Friday and Saturday nights. Please advise if would like this option when booking as we can receive bookings with same day check outs and check-ins meaning if you have not notified us that option may no longer be available because of a same day check in. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is supplied. **Please note we have an under-bench fridge. On rare occasions, groups require a large fridge. If you need a larger fridge for your stay, please let us know when you book or enquire. This includes all Kitchenware, Bedding, and internal Laundry. Currently, the cottage is set up for six people via three Queen sized beds. We do have a bunk room but only mattresses and pillows are supplied for this room which contains 3 x double bunks.
