A warm and cozy (yet spacious) holiday house with wood fire with wetback, (wood provided) and a heat pump, keeps the whole house warm and cozy with plenty of hot water. WiFi, Linen, & Sky TV included,as well as hard drive with movies for all, and plenty of board games and books to read. A fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker, toasted sandwich maker, coffee plunger etc. We also provide oil, seasoning, tea, coffee etc. There's also a drying room which is great to dry clothes and gear. There are too many activities to list - hiking (Tongariro Crossing Great Walk and lots more), bike trails, 4 wheel drive trails (42nd Traverse), skiing, snowboarding, scenery and bird watching - Blue Ducks, Kokakos and Kiwis in the forests, rivers for kayaking (for the Whanganui River Great Walk and plenty of canoe hire available), swimming and fishing. After a long adventurous day unwind and relax in the spa pool.
