"Sanctuary in Sandy Bay" is a beautiful family home with stunning views over the northern side of Waiheke. It's in a wonderful secluded location in a quiet neighbourhood. It has everything you need to have a fabulous family holiday. The house has 3 bedrooms, a newly renovated designer kitchen (ample space, kitchen bar, all mod-cons including wine/beer fridge), heaps of living space including a fabulous deck with incredible views out to the north of Waiheke. You will want to just sit and soak up the view and the sunshine out here. There is a spa just off the deck for your use which also looks out to the view. Perfect for soaking in after a day at the beach! The bedrooms and bathrooms have not been fully renovated yet but they have been painted and updated a little. They are however very comfortable and great for busy families... at the end of the day, you're on waiheke for the outdoor lifestyle :-) We also have 1 gorgeous cat. She is very low maintenance and great with kids. She just needs her food and water bowl kept topped up and preferably we like her to sleep inside at night. Down the road is our local beach Sandy Bay which is a lesser known one so a bit more secluded. You could also pop down the road to Enclosure Bay for a snorkel - both are perfect for families and children. Little Oneroa with it's famous dragon-fired pizza is an easy 20 minute walk away - great for families with a shop, pizza, beach and playground. A bus stop is there if you prefer to bus back up rather than walk. The rest of Waiheke is easily accessible by car from this very central location - playgrounds, beaches, shops, supermarket, vineyards and restaurants. It is also well located if you wish to use the buses. It's a 2 minute walk to Pope's corner bus stop which will connect you to Oneroa, Onetangi, Rocky Bay, Palm Beach, Ostend, and Matiatia. We are looking to rent our house to families only please. Netflix is available and we also have plenty of games, lego, toys, books, and Nintendo Switch.
