About this Holiday House

A lovely clean and tidy 2 bedroom cottage 3 minutes walk to Medlands Beach. Situated right in the middle of Medlands beach and handy to the large rock pool at Memory Park which is perfect for all ages of paddlers. Abundant native bird life, tui, wood pigeons, Kaka and ducks. Large section with plenty of parking. Self sufficient with solar powered 240 v . Electric fridge/freezer gas hot water, gas stove and oven. Compost bin for vegi waste. Small TV with freeview. Photos of the beach not taken from the cottage. Cell phone coverage for Vodafone customers.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a great location close to beach. Very clean and tidy with lovely garden to relax in. Jo was easy to communicate with, highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Hapuka Cottage over Labour Weekend. Jo was a great host to deal with and was very quick to respond to any of our queries, both before and during our stay. The house itself was perfect for what we needed. It is your quintessential Barrier beach house with a few mod-cons thrown in the mix. It was clean and tidy, bed was comfy and had great water pressure in the shower! It had everything we needed and was in a fab location at Medlands Beach. Within walking distance to not only the beach, but the local brewery, and the Dark Sky Sanctuary experience (of which we did both). We would definitely stay here again, and are looking forward to our next visit.

Bookings that span the new year period must have a check in date of 26 or 27 December. There is a one off cleaning fee of $125.00 Linen included. Has Wi-Fi
Rates: peak season 26 Dec to 6 February requires full payment by 1 November. Should you cancel after this date we can only refund if we are able to re book the property at the same rate. This is mainly due to travel difficulties to and from the Island over peak times with flights and ferries booked up.

A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
Full payment is due 28 days before arrival. If you cancel your reservation 30 days before arrival,50% of your payment will be charged. If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days before arrival 100% of your payment will be charged. No shows are also charged 100% of the payment.
Bookings cancelled incur a $100 administration fee.
