About this Holiday House

Fabulous value! Cozy, warm, sunny, modern and recently renovated fully self-contained flat "Manor Cottage", with new interactive flat-screen TV, free WiFi and washing machine, and (for 3 or more guests) separate sleepout "Kowhai Room" with toilet and basin, double bed, sofa lounge chair and desk. Hard-to-beat value for the traveler wanting a peaceful, aesthetic place to crash after a day out away from the bustle of the inner city. Delightful garden setting with own courtyard. Less than 5 mins walk to two major bus routes and close to airport and hire-car facilities. (If 2 guests would like both spaces, please book as 3 guests and let me know.)

Attractive, newly decorated flat with separate bedroom, bathroom and living area. Beautiful sunny outlook and patio area in pretty garden setting. New flat-screen interactive TV is a lot of fun (but no SKY). Free Wifi. Washing machine and separate clothesline a big plus. Off-street parking and barbecue facilities by negotiation.

Local amenities within one block include: park, supermarket and shops, including Indian and Thai takeaway, Pizza Hut, sushi, bottle store, fish and chips, Little Brown Jug pub, bakery, hairdressers, pharmicist, medical centre, dentist and dry cleaners. Public transport via two main bus routes, which service all big shopping malls, university, Botanical Gardens, Canterbury Museum and CBD only two minutes walk away. Also six blocks from Jellie Park Recreation & Sports Complex including gym, 5 minutes drive to Northlands Mall (Papanui) and 10 minutes to Westfield Mall (Riccarton). Only 8 minutes drive from Airport and Christchurch Antarctic Centre. This is an excellent location for accessing many popular tourist attractions as well as local amenities.

Quiet, clean and great location, accessible to airport and the city centre. Thanks for another great stay.

Very comfortable accommodation that was super clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. The second bedroom (Kowhai Room) is at the other end of the section so, a reasonable walk from the Manor Cottage. This makes it unsuitable for young children unless one parent sleeps in the other room. Our son is only four so the couch was fine for him as we had a sleeping bag with us. The rooms are excellent value for money. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely clean, tidy, quiet, well equipped accommodation in a beautiful garden. We stayed for approximately 10 weeks while having house repairs done and feel very lucky to have found this little gem. Our host was very friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

The $140 per night rate is for three people, two in Manor Cottage and one guest in the Kowhai Room, which includes toilet and basin, double bed, sofa, lounge chair and desk. Please note that shower in Manor Cottage is shared by all guests. This would suit teenagers, adults or an adult with a child. Sofa in Kowhai Room can be replaced by a single bed on request if two separate sleeping spaces are required.
