Well appointed cottage with comfortable furnishings. All mod cons, dishwasher was out of order during our stay. The owner had expected it to be repaired before our arrival but it didnt affect our enjoyment of the cottage. A few minor issues were reported to the owners. They rely on the renters to report these matters so they can be rectified. The cottage was reasonably clean on our arrival and as there is an option to pay for cleaning at a reasonable cost I couldnt help but think that having that as a compulsory feature would ensure a good standard is maintained. Silly things like tenants not emptying the lint filter on the drier and washing machine arent big jobs, but both needed doing when we arrived. This is not a reflection on the cottage. It is a nice place to stay at a very reasonable cost, just wish people would appreciate the place by leaving it as they find it. All in all a great base to explore the area at a very good price.

Loved our stay here. Warm, cosy, homely, tastefully renovated, with the best stocked kitchen ever ! 5 minutes drive to Tokaanu Hot Pools, supermarket, local shops. Happy to recomend and return.
