About this Holiday House
We are running an autumn discount meaning that stays booked from 4th April to 26th April will be discounted to $230 per night (down from $250)
Lincoln Retreat is a tranquil getaway, nestled in a quiet street in Tawa (a northern suburb of Wellington.)
Just a short stroll to the Tawa shops or to the train that will take you into Wellington within 15 minutes.
Newly renovated, this house is a home away from home with modern kitchen and two bathrooms, one with a shower over a bath and the other with a laundry included in addition to a new shower. Both have toilets. One is upstairs, one is down.
So comfortable and generously equipped with everything needed to make your stay in Wellington memorable. We try to keep some pantry staples for you. Just use whatever you like and leave any of your own groceries that you can't eat for others.
Three of the four bedrooms have queen beds. The other has a super king. In addition there is also one single bed. Three couples would be very comfortable. A port a cot, high chair is also available.
We take long term stays too but please book early
Free unlimited ultra fast broadband included of course.
Just a quick note regarding large families. They seem to sleep on the duvets. This causes even more washing as the duvet and the sheets need to be washed as they are wrinkled and cant be left as they are. Could you please sleep between the sheets rather than on top of the duvet. It makes things so much easier for my cleaner.
There are some toys in one of the bedrooms and there is a gate that you can slide in place so the young ones are safe upstairs.
If this place is showing that it is booked on the calendar, email me anyway as I know of other suitable places in the area.
I will answer your inquiry within half a day (mostly much less than that). If you haven't heard from me please look in your spam just in case
All stays will have a $200 cleaning fee included. This wont be in the quote from Holiday Houses that you see, it will be added by myself when I get your email enquiry. For larger numbers I may ask for a damage bond. If that is so, it will be the deposit for the stay and will be returned after the house has been checked for major damage. This is one way that I can cater for a larger number in the house.
Just thought I would copy and paste in some feedback from a recent stay:
"This property was fantastic and great value for money. Had loads of room for all 7 of us so it didn't feel cramped. It catered to our 2 yr old who loved the toys and was handy having a child gate at the top of the stairs. The bedrooms were comfortable and the house was very warm esp. with the hea4 pump and having heaters in each room."
