It was lovely and clean and warm with everything we needed". Anne, James & Daniel April 2015 "Thank you for the beautiful presentation of the Black Bach and the home baking - delicious. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the thoughtful extras you have included. We have really loved our stay in Martinborough and will recommend your lovely Bach to our friends". Kathryn & Rob, February 2015 "Everything was well prepared for us at Katherine's cottage. We felt welcome and well accommodated. The cottage is lovely. Definitely recommend this stay". Dawn, February 2015 "Although we never met Katherine, her cottage, "Black Bach" was immaculate and we enjoyed its comfortable, French Country ambiance. The fresh baked goodies were a nice surprise after a long day of travel". Blanche, January 2015 "The bach was exactly as described; centrally located, provincial, tidy with all mod cons. Easy to access, Katherine was very responsive and helpful. She even provided fresh flowers and chocolate! Will stay again". Erin, January 2015. "The Black Bach is a lovely cottage right in the center of Martinborough. We had a great time staying there. Our host wasn't around when we arrived, but she left a nice bottle of wine and chocolates for us. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished/decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We wished we could have stayed longer. We were able to walk into the center of town and have a nice dinner the night we arrived. And the next day we spent driving to wineries that were all very close to the Black Bach. Katherine left a note with dining suggestions as well as recommended wineries to visit which was very helpful". James 2014 "Thank you so much for a such a lovely weekend. Mark and I were thrilled with the Black Bach. It was just perfect for the two of us. We did dine at Pinocchio on Saturday night and had a wonderful evening. The food was so good – thank you for the recommendation. We are already talking about another trip to Martinborough and will definitely stay at Black Bach again. Loved the interior decorating. All in all a very memorable 10th wedding anniversary" Cathi, November 2014 "Thanks for having us to stay in such a fantastic place, we will be very keen to stay again". Grant, March 2014. Black Bach was clean, tidy and well equipped. The location was very convenient and we enjoyed our stay, especially the extra large walk in shower and the patio and lawn area, it was very restful and relaxing.

We had a fantastic stay at Black Bach while we were in Martinborough attending a wedding. It was very clean, modern and perfect for our needs. It's very close to town (only about a 5 minute walk) and had everything we needed, there was even a litre of milk in fridge. We will definitely book again the next time we are in Martinborough.
