Great location and a great place for family and friends to gather. Plenty of things to do in the area and activities for staying relaxing at the house. The beds are VERY comfortable with lovely cotton linen. Highly recommend

We booked for 5 nights and left after 1 night. The location is exceptional and we expected an old school bach but our issue was the cleanliness. The house was unclean and smelly - unpleasant to be in to the point we left. It was a big pain, stress and cost to find alternate accomodation right in the middle of a big family occasion - not lightly done! Seemed like the place hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. The upstairs smelt like old cooking grease and the downstairs was dank and musty. All the windows were hazy covered in grubby fingers cobwebs dust and dead bugs inside and out. Even the tv screen was smeared in something. The "games room" is not really functional with only the ping pong table useable. And the list goes on. Not as described in the listing or photos. We offered to show the on-site cleaner the issues but she declined. Partial refund requested. Owner's response after the fact was that the place was 'sufficiently clean' and no-one else had complained.
