Maggie's place is a great base for a larger family or group staying in Nelson. The house is usually lived in by the owner, so everything you might need for ordinary life is there thanks to Maggie's generosity. The vibe is comfortable friendly home, not executive hotel suite. It is very large with plenty of space to keep your own company as well as large common areas for dining and relaxing, inside and out. It is in a private spot but guests should note that a completely separate unit at the back of the property is rented out to a quiet and pleasant person, so there is occasional coming and going via the driveway. The Stoke shops are a short and very pleasant walk away through Isel Park. By bike, it's easy to connect to Nelson's cycleways and the tracks at the top of Marsden Valley are right at your doorstep. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms work well. Very sensitive sleepers can use one of two bedroom that face away from the road - others will be fine. Thanks Maggie!

What a great place for a small group booking. Oodles of space and with a bit of reorganisation a dance floor!! Good large bedrooms with comfy beds and two bathrooms with separate loos. Washing machine meant we went home with mainly clean clothes. Loved every minute of it. Thanks Maggie.
