About this Holiday House

Our house was built by an award winning builder in 2006, The clean and modern larch cottage has 2 decks capturing all day sun in all seasons. The front deck has bifolding doors opening towards the tennis court which is approx 3m away. All on one level and a perfect spot for couples, families or groups. 2 minutes walk to cafe,restaurant, pubs ,museum and, historic precinct as well as next door to playground, BMX track Our house is a Central Otago Regional Brand qualified house and fully resource consented for 9 people. Auto WM, freeview, TV, CD player, oven,fridge/freezer, log fire, bbq, laundry, microwave, All day sun . Private back deck with morning sun. Cell phone coverage Pet friendly A non refundable deposit is required at time of booking please There is a linen and cleaning fee of 75$

Special Amenities

Centrally located. Has remains of original gold miners mud cottage on a large section. Very sunny all year round, warm in winter and cool in summer. Firewood provided. 2 minutes walk to all amenities including cafe, pubs,museum and historic precinct. 10 minutes walk to skating,curling,mountain bike trails and golf course. Right next door to BMX track, tennis court and playground . Sunny at all times of the year. Excellent location.

Another great stay for us at this house. The kids love being right next to the bike tracks and playground. Cosy house for two families. We did notice the photos on the listing show the main bedroom as a double and single bed, but this has changed since our last stay to a lovely king bed - it wasn’t a problem for us this time but worth noting for families with small children who may book with this expectation.

A well presented house with all the amenities that you need for a nice stay no matter what the weather. A great location as just a few minutes walk to the Black Forest Cafe, Royal Hotel and the general store. Lots of heaters and a log burner to fire to keep you warm. Only minor negative point is the pressure of the shower wasn't that great for the first two days as we had to turn the setting to almost full hot to get a warm shower. On the third day the hot water cylinder was warmer, so shower pressure was good.

Thankyou for this. We have worked hard to try and make shower pressure better but no plumber seems to be able to! Changed heads three times but it seems it runs better when fire in use Claire
