A lovely home and garden- we enjoyed our stay. However, given the price we paid, it was disappointing to experience the following issues; The host did not provide a key code after prompt, full payment, we waited 4.5 hours after arrival to get an email key code! (Finally got key access after 10pm.) Some crockery & cutlery very dirty, baked potato left in oven, host's daughter visited property without prior notice, hot water went cold at 8pm and host did not reply to our message until 7.35am next day. The delay in responses to our queries was extremely frustrating. Two chairs in the lounge are unsafe to sit on. The single beds are very tired. Double beds comfy. If communication with the host had been timely, we would have felt much happier.

A great house in a great location. Welcoming, peaceful and well equipped, the new kitchen and bathroom are lovely, and the garden a cool haven on warmer days. We loved staying here and hope to visit again.
