About this Holiday House

Fully equipped modern house, with sea view overlooking Horseshoe Bay. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 5 Double glazed, with heat pump. A bird watches paradise! Seafarers is ideal for those that want peace and quiet, away from the crowds and are happy to sit back, enjoy the scenery and listen to nature at it's best! Aurora photographers, I am very happy to let you know when one is happening during your stay, and will show you the good spots for viewing, and if you need help with camera settings I can help you there. There is a car available for your use and entirely at your own risk. Drivers must be licensed, over 25 and there is a petrol and maintenance fee of $30 per day paid in cash on arrival. Special Amenities

Seafarers is very private, quiet sunny spot, with native bush up to the deck, has Tuis and Bellbirds feeding off the Fushia and Flax flowers. The cheeky Kaka visit the deck, looking for a few peanuts and Fantails flit around the house. Kiwi's can be heard calling at night, and if you are very lucky could spot one. Many walks close by, and a safe beach at the end of the road. Moorings are available if you want to bring a boat. Seafarers is ideal for families, couples and just the perfect spot for a honeymoon. You will be meet at the plane or boat on arrival, and we are happy to assist you in your bookings, and activities on our beautiful island.

A lovely house with a balcony and a view of the sea and very comfortable and warm. We were so grateful to have the use of a car. Sandra and her daughter Andrea were so helpful and obliging and Andrea picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry terminal. We would definitely recommend this property. Rose.

What an outstanding property set against the bush with a view out towards Horseshoe Bay. The home is well equipped with everything you need and is well maintained and very clean. Sandra and Andrea were wonderful hosts and provide all the support you need if required. Having the use of the car was fantastic as it is a bit of a walk back to Oban without it. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful location this is it. We thoroughly recommend this place and we will be coming back again.

Amazing stay, great hosts and a perfect location. So much wildlife just outside the windows, we saw kiwis a 5 minute walk from the cottage and could see beautiful starry skys from bed. Sandra and Andrea were both really helpful and welcoming to the island. Hope we can return soon!
