Warm and cozy with great ocean views in two directions. The cottage is located in Okiato a small neighborhood about 8km from Russell in the Bay of Islands in the warmest part of the North Island. Okiato was the first capitol of New Zealand. There are wonderful views from both sides of the cottage, one looking North to the Veronica Channel where the ferry travels from Opua to Okiato and the other from a large covered deck that looks out across the Waikere inlet and lush green hills in the distance. Dozens of boats of all sizes are moored in the inlet waters providing a very picturesque view.
Delightful and charming newly built north facing cottage with colonial verandahs on 2 sides. Fully self contained with modern kitchen. Good indoor/outdoor living maximising all day sun and bush views with native birds. An idyllic spot for any season.
