Set in the heart of a typical village in Tonga the Heilala is one of 4 holiday homes in the Green Lodge Holiday Homes - a humble and proud family business promoting eco-tourism, family and Christian values.
With only a five minute leisurely drive away from the bustling town of Nuku'alofa, a stone throw away from the National Museum, King Tupou George V's palace, Fanga 'Uta lagoon, Vaiola Hospital and the flea market, Green Lodge Holiday Homes is safely situated in the tranquil village of Tofoa.
Green Lodge Holiday Homes consists of four modern houses offering a lot of floor space area, each with three or four bedrooms totaling 13 bedrooms altogether. Houses are all fully furnished, environmental friendly yet modern and comfortable suitable for visiting families of three or more as well as groups.
All four houses have hot water, fans, TV, refrigerator, cooking facilities and all have screened windows. A complimentary 1 GB per night of stay is provided. Additional GB of use are charged at T$15 each.
We have a special Friday-Sunday programme that will include an island buffet dinner, island tours, kayaking, diving, cycling, coconut climbing, attending a Tongan kava party and church service as well as doing a traditional Tongan earth oven (umu) cooking.
Green Lodge prides itself in promoting eco-tourism and will become one of the accommodations in a developing country to be fully powered with renewable and green energy by mid-2016.
