It has views which vary so much from all the rooms, feijoa and apple blossom from the lounge looking north, glimpses of Waiwera bay from the lounge looking south east and the same from the main bedroom and baches in Riverhaven to the west. A house, a church and another house separate the cottage from the foreshore of Waiwera Beach. There’s an AT bus stop directly opposite the cottage which runs on the hour into Orewa or staying on the route Auckland City. Waiwera Village has a population of only 250 yet it will look after your needs with Sugar Loaf Beach Bar and Grill and it’s off licence, a church, a boat ramp and a mini market.
