A charming little cottage in the country beautifully decorated ...like stepping back into the past with kiwi classical decor.
Loved the grape vine covered courtyard, perfect for a candlelit picnic dinner.

Ophir is a unique little village with the cutest vintage shop called the Barn. Open each weekend in the warmer months. Truly worth a visit. Also Pitches for superb food. We will be back

Ryan's Cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it. We all loved coming back after a day out to a nice warm fire! The outdoor area under the grapevines was lovely. Our only suggestions would be some new furniture in the lounge area and a curtain over the sleepout door. The current couch and chairs in the lounge are uncomfortable and look to be due for an upgrade. Also the curtain in the sleepout would help stop draughts and flies from coming in. Apart from this our stay was a good one.

Our second stay - and we still cannot get enough. An absolutely charming place to stay, so relaxing and central to all things. Cottage delightful - as are Judy and her husband, the owners. We'd like to keep it a secret!!!!!!

We had a great time in Ophir. Wonderful base for exploring the surrounding area or just getting away from it all. Ryan's Cottage was a fantastic place to call home duing our stay. Historic, but with every comfort of home (great shower, just whats needed after a day on the trail). The outside dining area was well utilised during our visit. We would love to visit again one day. Judy and family have also priced this cottage in such a way that it is a real bargain!"
