CHRIS HEAD
Awesome peaceful spot. We had 12 people in the house which worked well although the sofa beds in the lounge weren’t all that comfortable. Access to a small beach and use of the kayaks was really good. Highly recommended for a low-key isolated getaway. Only feedback would be perhaps a sign to better direct people to the house 😁

A great rural family house near the water approx 45 minutes by road from Picton. Peaceful tranquil setting.Great home away from home .

1970's style with high ceilings... A basic accommodation, linen was clean, lodge needed some TLC. Massive cobwebs in the ceiling and behind TV. Great for large group, as plenty of room... those who were planning on a holiday with little connectivity to the outside world... no reception or internet here. Not notified that nearest grocery shop was an hour away before arrival, which would have been useful. However 20 minutes from lodge is a brilliant tavern who were very accommodating, and a gas station with minimal hours who have some basics.. The road is narrow and twisting so not for the faint-hearted driver or those that get car sick.
