A truly gorgeous weekend. We were blessed with perfect weather, and wonderful time to catch up and slow down with dear friends from across the globe. Benjamin's 30th birthday was officially marked in our memories with "stargazing" in the sky, sea (phosphorescence), and bush (glowworms). We enjoyed walks to the lookout and waterfall, cruising around in the dinghys, and lots of lawn games and good chats. Thank you so much for sharing your very special home with us!

We booked both Cherith house and cottage for our group of 14 and it worked perfectly. The house and the cottage are close enough together that it is an easy to walk between the two. Great to be able to see the beach from the cottage to keep an eye the kids.
Lunch and wine and the resort cafe was a real treat for the adults!

We had a great time boating, fishing, kayaking and swimming from the jetty.
Being able to use the wifi in the evening to catch up on the news back home was a nice added bonus.
Both the house and cottage are well set up and have everything you need for a great holiday.

We will definitely be back!

With glowworms, a waterfall, bushwalks and good fishing you couldn't really ask for more!

The views and tranquility were awesome. We managed to get some fantastic photos.
We highly recommend Cherith to anybody visiting New Zealand.

Surrounded by beautiful Native bush sitting above the Bay of Many Coves Cherith House has stunning views of the bay out the front and the thick bush behind
The house is presented at very high standard and offers space and privacy for a large number of guests . Wrapped by a deck there is always a place out of the wind in the sun.
Staying at Cherith house is lesson in organisation and a chance to make your own fun, enjoy the many walks , fish, cook together and enjoy many nights around the wonderful big dining table . Two weeks for our family of 6 went by very quickly and we now have many happy memories.

Plenty of games and well stocked with wood and gas for the barbeque. Great deck area and you can make friends with George and Mildred, the Wekas who invite themselves inside. Also great spot for walking on well marked tracks. You will love it there.

Even the littlest members if the family were touched by the purity of the land there.

We had a great weekend here, taking photos, walking up the hill track and rowing about the bay. The bach is spacious but retains a real house-in-the-trees feel -- you can almost touch the bush from its balconies. The woodburner is very effective and water taxis to the Bay of Many Coves were easy to arrange. All we had to do was plan our food and supplies and get there!
