About this Holiday House

The good old 'kiwi bach'. Its rustic with no dishwasher or microwave. It has board games, puzzles & books & set amongst NZ native bush. It has everything you need to take a break from life, but still has wifi if you really need it for work. Native birds, trees, the odd spider (nothing poisonous in NZ) & a lake view, we think, is what it's all about. It has two bedrooms & sleeps a max of 5. Workable kitchen, log fire & TV. Soap, tea, coffee, toilet rolls & some cooking condiments included. Sheets & towels NOT provided. Sadly we now need to charge a cleaning fee as we've had guests 'not' leave it clean and tidy.

Set in New Zealands native bush amongst the wood pigeons, tuis, bell birds, punga, Rewa Rewa, nikau palms and peacefulness the bush offers. There's a private beach across the road, 3min drive to the boat ramp & play ground. Kawerau township with supermarket and free heated swimming pools, a 15min drive away.

15min drive to nearby Kawerau town for New World supermarket, free public heated swimming pool & Tarawera falls. Whakatane township is a 35min drive and Rotorua, the other way 35min also.

Great kiwi old school getaway bach with an amazing view of the beautiful lake Rotoma.Has all the basic essentials needed and a fireplace for the colder evenings. Our family enjoyed a long weekend stay here. Highlight was the stunning view and native scenery.

The view is extraordinary. Exactly what we needed to get away and recharge. Lovely lush bush all around. Bach is cozy, beds comfy. Lots of character and everything needed to make the stay pleasant. Clean space too.
