This lovely cosy cottage is great for your summer holidays. Pohara beach is an easy 5 min walk away. Enjoy the sun-drenched deck and relaxed nature of the cottage. Pohara Valley Road is a quiet street with ample birdlife yet just a 10-minute walk along the Pohara beach to the local shop and cafes. Pohara beach is ideal for long walks and swimming. A few minutes' walk takes you spectacular limestone cliffs popular with rock-climbers, and, in the other direction, a general store and restaurants/cafes and bars. Within a few minutes by car is the Tarakohe marina, with a launching ramp for larger boats, the golden sands of Tata Beach, a nine-hole golf course, and Takaka township for that spot of shopping therapy. The house is fully equipped, including towels and linen (and beach towels). Special conditions: • An unfenced stream runs through the front of the property making it unsuitable for small children. • Lots of space for parking cars and boats. • No tents. • No camping • Smoking allowed outside only. • No party groups. • Optional cleaning service available for extra charge. A $100 bond is required when you make the booking which we repay immediately after your stay if the property is left clean and tidy as it was found. If we need to put cleaners through the property, we charge this at $50 an hour and repay the difference based on hours taken. 100% refund of amount payable if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in. 50% refund of amount payable if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in. Check-in is AFTER 2pm please, and we offer a more leisurely check-out time of BY 12.00am. Please respect these times to enable us to have the house ready for the next guests who may be checking in the same day. If you have opted for a cleaning service, check out is BY 10am.
