A one-bedroom hideaway in beautiful Upper Moutere ! Situated on a six-hectare lifestyle block on the lower part of Neudorf Road, central to everywhere..... Our compact cottage is private, fully furnished and well appointed, with easy living overlooking a large dam with waterfowl life. Very peaceful and a wonderful base from which to explore the Moutere and Motueka Valleys, Mapua and wider Tasman District. Upper Moutere Village with local amenities (store, garage, crafts) is just 3 km away, including our 'local', "The Moutere Inn".

Upper Moutere Village is 3 km away. "The Moutere Inn", the oldest Pub in the country. 3 superb vineyards nearby with short drive, Kahurangi, Moutere Hills and iconic Neudorf Vineyard just 500m up our (Neudorf) Road. Approx 10 km down to Mapua; 18 kms into Motueka.

Lovely spot and Jacuqi and Michael have made the place very clean and homely. The location is the best, 10 minutes to Mapua wharf eateries, 15 mins to Motueka Newworld, 20mins to town, 30 mins to Mt Arthur and 1hr to Nelson Lakes and 2 mins to Neudorf Vineyard a couple of doors up the driveway!! We had some magical moments overlooking the pond outside of the cottage deck with welcome swallows dancing in the twilight and fun watching the chooks running around. This is a cottage for 2 - but when you are on holiday, you really don't need much space and this is truly a very warm and cosy place to spend quiet time at. Thanks again for your hospitality Jacqui and Michael. Using the gas oven was one of my highlights!! :D
