If you want privacy and a quiet beautiful place to stay, the Navigator will do you well. I enjoyed my stay. Quiet and peaceful, right on the waters edge with beautiful views of one of the motu (small islands across the lagoon). Very entertaining watching local dogs hitch a ride with tourist surf board paddlers crossing the lagoon to get to the motu. Hilarious!! Lovely and friendly hosts. Comfortable king size bed with comfortable mattress. I'm particular about beds as I suffer from back problems. No back aches here. Didn't need to use the air con, just opened the sliding door and the constant cool breeze just flowed right through the unit. No mosquitos. Insect screens on all windows and sliding door which means you can keep windows louvres and sliding door open to get the breeze and not worry about flying insects coming into the studio. Absolutely lovely place to stay!! Was clean and so beautiful. Joy was amazing, she was there to check us in, was so kind as to gift us bacon, milk, juice, bread and eggs which was such a wonderful gesture and was just overall lovely and helpful. Highlight was going on the kayaks available and seeing a turtle. 10/10 would recommend.

The Navigator Studio offered the perfect stay for me & my wife. The location was idyllic as it was situated just a few steps from the waters of Muri Lagoon & the studio itself afforded all we needed to enjoy a week's stay in Rarotonga. Joy, the host, met us on arrival & was always available to help should we have needed it. Everything we needed could be found in the studio, including essentials such as bread & milk plus the added thoughtful bonus of a couple of beers & a wee bottle of bubbles. The Muri night market was walking distance away as were the local supermarket, cafe & restaurants. All this made for a really enjoyable vacation. If you're looking for peace, privacy & convenience, then the Navigator Studio is highly recommended.
