This was a great villa and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Its totally private, with the pool and outdoor seating areas within your own courtyard. The pool is deeper than it looks in the photos and very clean, as was the whole villa. Two very nice bedrooms (1 king, 1 with 2 singles) and lovely bathrooms. You have a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, a barbecue and lots of TV channels (including at least 2 cartoon channels, one movie channel and some local coverage). The house is well screened and we had no problems with bugs, probably helped by being a bit higher inland. You would probably want to have a car or scooters if renting this villa. Tips: 1. The villa Wifi only lasts for 5 days, so if you need access you will need to purchase more. We didn't bother but I think its only $15 2. Bottled water is the norm on Raro but scattered around the island are free filtered refill stations, which we used. Reduces plastic waste and saves you some coin 3. Best snorkelling on the island is at Fruits of Rarotonga in the southeast. Very clear water even if it's windy, accessible at any tide and lots of fish. You can also rent snorkelling gear just across the road

I’ve stayed in a few houses in Rarotonga and I would have to say this is definitely my number one choice! The fenced pool was amazing especially on those hot afternoons, the heat was bearable with ceiling fans throughout the whole house and even on the deck, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outside bath just topped it all off. Will definitely be looking at staying here again!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at konoha escape and will not think twice about rebooking for our next trip back. The property looked and felt very boutique. Has everything you could possibly want and need in a holiday home. Konoha escape really is an appropriate title for this villa. It was an absolute pleasure calling this place home for 2 weeks.
