It's off the grid and fully self contained with most of the comforts of home. *A Coal Range which heats your water *Solar powered lights at the flick of a switch *Chrystal clear running water for drinking & showering & yes we do have flush loo's The setting is Private, Peaceful and Relaxing. The Shack is rustic and cosy. This is as close as you will get to the 'outback' but only minutes away from the city. Two rivers to enjoy! Both the Ashley & the Okuku for walking, swimming & fishing plus heaps of fun to be had for those with their own mountain bikes,motorbikes or horses (BYO only). Horse paddocks available @$20 per horse pn Dogs welcome for $10per night Please mention when booking if you will be bringing any pets as these will be charged separately. Just 10 mins to Rangiora Township for plenty of Cafes and Restaurants or head 20 mins north for a great selection of wineries.

Good basic facilities as stated in description. A great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Fully fenced around the shack so the dogs could play without having to worry. Would recommend if you have animals and looking for somewhere nice and quiet.

It was a beautiful place to stay, with a wonderful location and a nice area for our dog to play in and about, we did a wee bit of possum spotting with our daughter too, the place was clean, tidy and felt like a home away from home, we will be coming back for another stay in the future.

The epitome of rustic, laid back old school charm. Was great to get back to basics with the family and fully relax, the dog had a great time bothering bunnies too! Most highly recommend, thanks Corina and family for your lovely place 😊
